A little known truth is that dragons with multi-gaze are part of a multiple-personality system. The extra eyes belongs to the other personality. And that personality really really likes to stare at people like they're super uncomfortable or something.

It doesn't bother me at all. *shrug* I headcannon that each multigaze eye is capable of moving independently, and is also connected to light/movement receptors but not connected to the part of the brain responsible for sight or controlling movement. So their eyes just move randomly and it's quite creepy. Most of the eyes are also open at all times, even when the dragon is asleep. They make quite good guards.
