So, I've been on here for almost 4 years now, and I'm afraid that I'm starting to lose interest. The only thing I'm really into at the moment, is hatching eggs. However, saving up to buy eggs is a very tedious and time consuming task, to say the least. I feel like flight rising is taking up way too much of my time. The only thing I'm excited about is NOTN, really. Because I know I'll have the chance to get lots of nocturne eggs, without having to pay millions. Other than that, I really don't find the game as interesting anymore. I don't have a desire to get more permas or anything. It's just all about eggs. So, I don't know. I think I'm very likely to go on an indefinite/permanent hiatus after I hatch the eggs I get this NOTN. I've really done all there is to be done on here.

If you feel like FR is taking up too much time. Then maybe you should indeed take a hiatus. It is not that hard to acquire newer items after a few weeks/months so you wouldn't really miss that much when you leave.
Unless they are finally making a new breed that has special requirements. but hey. You'd never now.

How about log on everydya to feed and gather without doing anything else ? You can still get egg from scavenging . Then just do something else until NOTN where you can hoard ton of eggs for later use . I'm also start to feel burn out and getting more picky on what G1 dragons I want to buy . I may do a small lair purge soon who know . I have some dragons I bought but not entirely feel happy with them anyway .

i recommend a break if you're getting tired of fr! i took a 9 month break back in 2015 and came back refreshed and having fun again :) fr updates slowly, so a break will have you coming back to a bunch of new things and makes it more exciting.

Looks like you're collecting plague themed gen1s. They look awesome! Why not continue down that road? :D
I just try and finish off my gen1 projects, and save for some eventual dragon breed release, and then I linger around. Every now and then exciting stuff happens, I'm always looking forward to each next festival.
Some months I'm more passive, just gathering and feeding the dragons. Other times I'm really in for it, pimping up my dragons and buying new ones.
I also like the forums, that's probably the main reason I stay. It's a way to unwind.

If the game is burning you out definitely take a break! I did that a while back, came back after about a year and there was tons of new stuff for me to play with, and its holding my interest a lot better now. :D

Unnamed dragons need love too! There is no shame in having unnamed permas, having dragons with unnamed parents and/or offspring, or exalting unnamed dragons! Leaving dragons unnamed is a perfectly valid playstyle!

Understandable! The updates have been pretty slow and there isn't much going on at the moment except intense waiting for revamps and new content. Thankfully I have no life and I'm too invested in this game to stop at all but if you feel like it's getting hard to stay interested, take a short hiatus! Who knows, maybe when you come back there'll be more stuff!

If you need a break, you need a break and that's okay! Make sure you feel better when NoTN comes back around so you feel refreshed for egg grinding :^) I know I'm gonna be grinding my mind out.

Whenever I feel I am losing interest I come on every day to feed my dragons (sometimes even every two days) and gather items. That's it. It really helps me when I want to come back so I feel like it's really hard to get food again and such. It's also a major refresher and I don't feel like I'm missing out by taking a 'hiatus'

This is why I take breaks for a year or months or whatever. FR , to play it to the fullest, is a very very time consuming game I feel? It sounds like a stupid thing to say for a browser game but it can really weigh down on you especially if you miss a day.
When you take a break and come back there's a bunch of new content and it's very exciting to get back in to, even if you do have to catch up on a bunch of items.
