That's known to happen! I don't remember the reasoning behind it but sometimes while using FR, random pictures will be replaced with.... other random pictures lol. There are some really hilarious screenshots of that happening especially from long ago-- dragons in lairs turning into female signs, flight banners turning into avatars from completely random people, etc....

I seem to recall there being one thread where a dragon was replaced with alchemist tools, or something similar. Just, your normal lair, complete with giant floating apparel...

[/quote] Judging from that description the 'reason' would a browser cache error. The fix would be clearing the cache. But yeah, when the browser loads pages it'll save images in like... temp storage to help the pages load faster... when that cache errors out it'll just plop images that def aren't supposed to be there into the page because it thinks it's supposed to. The.. interesting part here is that the 'ping icon' if I'm understanding correctly is just an @ symbol. So I'm not sure if that's counted as an 'image' or not... then again if you're loading it on a page then browser errors have done some VERY funky things. If you google it you can see some pretty wacky page layouts. Dragons replaced with the squirrel familiar icon, banners repeating infinity, all the text buttons replaced with other images -- just wacky stuff. So it's possible that it could swap the 'image' of text with something else I suppose [b]Edit:[/b] to add to that, it doesn't have to be website specific either. The cache can be remembering other images and superimpose them onto the site. I've seen a few that replaced images with others that are clearly not FR images. Like gifs or pics from real life sources, etc. So it's possible the lava lamp was pulled from something else if it [i]was [/i]a cache error

Random images appearing on FR are caused by cache errors. Please manually clear yours to fix incorrect images.

As for lava lamps, some other site you've visited had lava lamps and the cache presented those images in place of the correct ones.

I'm sure there are a bunch all over the bug report forums if you know what to look for! Maybe try "image replacement" or something? Good luck, I remember there being some pretty entertaining ones floating around....
