According to my account info I signed up 3 years, 4 months and 6 days ago. I have logged on every single day since, even if only to feed my dragons, but usually much more. In all that time I have never once gotten a festival chest from digging.
Anyone else that unlucky?
PS, I've also never gotten a hippojay from gathering. I finally got impatient and bought one :P Sometimes I feel like my account is jinxed, LOL

I have been heer since the first day, so 5 years 5 months and 22 days. I think I've gotten... 5 chests from digging? And I always dig during festivals, except for the past two months, which I spent scavenging instead.

I have been here less than 2 years and I have gotten at least, 2? :o are they that rare?

Riela Been here over five years, finally got a Darktouch Chimera… last week? I'd been looking at the prices and was definitely considering buying one, but RNG finally took pity on me and dropped it from Scavenging. Likewise, I've been grinding the Boreal Woods for about that many years and have never once gotten a Yeti. I've gotten multiples of other boss drops that didn't even
exist when I started trying to get a Yeti, but no Yeti.
…I'd honestly just buy one except that I need to get one myself for the Coli Scavenger Hunt anyway, so there's no point. But also I'm going to be there forever. Not even the good luck turkey grind could get a Yeti to drop for me.
RNG is weird and oddly specific sometimes. I'm sorry; I hope you get a chest from digging tomorrow, because that seems like a thing RNG might do.

I think I've gotten two or three festival chests from digging since I joined. But that's with spending almost every festival gathering turn digging for every fest. The chances are really, really low.

i usually get at least one chest from digging during a festival
how much FC i get? i can spend all my daily turns digging <yes, in the proper area> and not get a chest or ANY fc . the chest i understand, but really, festival currency? (wipe a tear) note: yes, i get SOME festival currency, but never enough to buy one of each [new] item from Festive Favors from gathering alone

Pipqu I totally agree about the currency! I have stockpiled tons of it for each flight over the years by brewing it after I finish brewing the skins ;) Now if I don't get enough from gathering I dip into the stores I keep in my vault. I'm constantly maxed out in Baldwin's from all the transmuting I do to get the ingredients, LOL

For me it depends, but I tend to be on the positive end of getting chests! I'd say...proooobably 8-10 chests overall since 2014 from digging? And maybe as much or more from Coli? I used to hoard a ton of them before I caved and mass opened/sold them all XP
