I know the drops are completely random and such but where do you get the most luck with eliminate drops?

I'm currently starting over with my lair and I'm leveling up a new team and at level 10 the struggle gets real.. maybe people got lucky in low level venues? I could buy one.. but that price. :')

I know some venues don't drop them at all... also I heard they drop from only certain enemies.. yadayada.. Anyone knows something about eliminates and their drop rates? And which venue could be best.

Bamboo Falls for me - I got two there in the past.

If you don't actually care about them being *your* dragons per se you can buy level 25 eliminate-stoned dragons for like half the actual stone, just looking now I see a few on the AH for ~300 gems and I bet you could find them even cheaper if you're willing to haggle and search through the forums.

As for actually grinding eliminate, my personal experience is that it's rare enough that you can't really target farm for it. As in, you're probably more likely to drop enough items from the coli to buy a stone before actually dropping one. I wish you luck, though.

Their drop rates, as far as I know of, are unknown in terms of exact percentage.

As for venue, it's whatever you want to farm in the most.

If you want really rare items fast, a lower-leveled venue might be best for you. However, the common items you'll find won't sell for as much as higher-leveled venues.

If you want to make some cash as you go along, higher-leveled venues that are still efficient for you would be best.

Investing in an eliminate though isn't too bad, since you can earn it back from grinding in the coli enough, which is smoother and faster with eliminate.

I bought an eliminate yesterday, and I'm pretty sure I'm about to get my money back if I keep grinding at the rate I'm currently doing.

There's no specific venue that's 'eliminate central'. It's all a matter of what feels best for you, and how you want to grind.

hmmmm.. well in the past I had most luck in woodland paths and sandswept delta.. but that was usually during fests cause grinding is such a bore. If I don't get a drop until NotN or something I'll probably just buy at least one. :')

I've probably gotten the most total from the GW, but I also used to spend a lot of time there, so it could just be that. Also gotten at least a couple from Woodland Path.

Also, a lot of people have gone out hunting Blooming Grove boss familiars and gotten Elims instead; don't know if the Pohips have higher rates of dropping it than normal enemies would, or whether it was just quantity of encounters at that point.

I've gotten two Eliminates in Ghostlight Ruins since I started leveling dragons there at the beginning of August. And I usually level at least 12 dragons a day, more if a dominance battle is going on.

The drop rates are pretty low. :x

I'd recommend a venue where it doesn't drop from boss familiars and a low enough level that your dragons can get through battles fast. If you don't mind moving venues, a Coli quest like Long Drop that changes venues after a certain point can help keep things a little more interesting.

That said, if you have Ambush on all your dragons, anything past level 9 should be perfectly fine with either Culex or Sedona but no Eliminate. Scorched Forest is tough because you can't equip Ambush yet, but Sandswept Delta should be just fine? If you're struggling there, I don't know that Eliminate will fix your problems— it's going to be cheaper to invest in Sap (for your health) or Clobber (to delay boss turns once you get to Blooming Grove) if you want to keep training your dragons.

Edit: Okay, I looked at your team and they're level 12 so clearly my worries about you being stuck at Sandswept Delta were unfounded. Eliminate's going to help make things faster, but if you're worried about the cost, Sap and Clobber are still incredibly helpful. With my pure-Sedona team of levelers, I could fairly reliably build up the breath to completely stun-lock a boss with Clobber by alternating who used Clobber and who used Scratch. It's a fairly under-appreciated stone that stocks in the Marketplace for cheap and is usually on the AH for cheaper. If health is your main issue, I'd definitely recommend Sap. That's helpful even on Eliminate-build dragons and is also a Marketplace stone with a fixed price.

Good luck!

Go for one that doesn't have a ton of neutrals, all the elementals drop eggs now and 2 eggs is about the same in gems as an eliminate. Blooming Grove or Training Fields maybe?
