TOPIC | Familiars or Muck: Which to sell?
so i have a heck ton of extra familiars I want to sell and I've sold a couple for 3 gems each. But I could also convert it all to muck and potentially get more gems out of each one. do y'all just sell the familiars themselves, or convert it to muck and then sell the muck?

Muck will get you more right now with NotN coming up and many recipes that need them. Unless the familiar is selling for over 30k you will most likely get more from melting down than from straight selling.

I hoardsell the ones that are like 2900. I melt the ones that have a hoardsell of like 1500. AH for the pricier ones (if they have a hoardsell over 3k I check the AH)

i always melt them if they're not more than just a few gems-

I put most of mine into the cauldron to not waste time comparing and listing them in the AH but some could be worth a decent penny.

For me it depends on how rare they are; if it's a familiar that can get you a bunch of gems I'd sell as is, but if you only have ones worth about 3 gems I'd say put them into the cauldron. Then again, I rarely sell muck since I use it all so maybe I'm not exactly qualified lol

Imo it pretty much depends on how busy your cauldron is.

If I'm low on mats and trying to brew more I'll sell the familiars because it would be a while before I could transmute them. If you are comfortable on mats though it's much more profitable to sell the muck.
