I want a red rose flowerfall to complete an outfit but they're so much more expensive in the ah than they are in the mp!
I don't think I've ever seen a flowerfall of any kind in the ah come to think of it...

I got a red rose flowerfall from a chest once. To the chest, it's just some cheap mp item, but to me, it was a tremendous gift and I was thrilled.
Black tulip flowerfalls are free if you are willing to suffer for them. Same with Sakura. You can also buy the components and wait for the trade, and it'll be cheaper than the auction house.
The others, though, you gotta refresh the marketplace every five minutes on the dot to have any hope of getting it for 20kt, especially red rose or marigold. I'm bad at this but I just refuse to buy them at a more than 4x markup.
TLDR; flowerfalls are suffering no matter what u do

Granted the black tulips are a swipp item, so it's understandably more expensive
