I've spent months grinding for swipp components (and gotten none within a reasonable amount of time) and, despite that, had enough egg drops to fully gene both my progens even with gem genes.

I have found that saying "Of course this won't happen to me" in the most sincere way possible generally gave me the thing I wanted
