a bit of info gathering for myself and other hatchery owners:
what do you, as people buying dragons, look for in hatchery dragons?
specific colours? genes? breeds? what do you want to see more of? why do you go to hatcheries instead of scouring the AH?

What I'm looking for:
-themed hatcheries! So I know what I can expect from future pairs, and because chances are that I like a lot of pairs in a themed hatchery
-xyz pairs and treasure genes! Because I feel like many hatcheries focus on xxx and gem genes, to the point that most of those 'perfect dragons' appear boring to me

What I want to see more:
-Ridgebacks! Mirrors! And other dragons that are not Coatl, WC, SD or Imp... But those two especially, they're my faves but I barely ever see them in hatcheries

Why I buy in a hatchery:
-tbh, I usually buy on the AH because of all the reasons above, but sometimes I'll stumble over a pretty (usually themed) hatchery and sign up on the pinglist

Usually hatcheries with themed names catch my attention so I have a good idea of what dragons I might find there.

Also maybe I'm just weird but it seems like a lot of hatcheries have the same genes, like Bee or Alloy to name a couple. And it's ALWAYS imps and wildclaws and coatls so there's almost never any stock.

I almost ever go to the dragon seeling thread so most hatcheries I go to have pretty buttons in the owner's sig lmao

I like simple graphics and bold colored dragons.
No breed preference, for myself, but I think Imps and Wildclaws seem popular.
A teaser or preview post tempts me to look further. (like a fancy book cover)
Links to each listing are appreciated, esp if the images are clickable.
If I have to scroll and scroll I will usually leave after a post or two.
At hatcheries I admire, I also peek at the affiliated links. (bonus shopping)

And this is not logical, but I am more likely to visit hatcheries with more pages of sales. Bump your thread, but delete the bumps so you don't have pages of just 'bump'. I like to see the past hatchlings that have been purchased.

what do i look for?
something unique and cool, something that really yells one of a kind you know
also i'm cheap so i prefer cheap hatcheries over expensive ones

What do you wanna see more of?
Mixmatching! All these star/cons and wasp/bees are so boring, gimme my python/cons and Star/trails and pie/butts
also more crackle, i need more crackle

Why do you go to hatcheries?
i don't honestly know... boredom? Curiosity? eh, i scroll around them randomly
