Oh, but can't you feel it?! The void, it's calling me- Calling all of us! It wants to eat our souls, so that we never ascend to the heavens, it wants to absorb us! It needs sustenance, so that it may expand and envelop this whole useless world! All that muck and grime, the ooze, it will fill every crevice of reality, and it will change the world into a paradise! All you have to do is live to see it!
And why aren't I scared? Because the void is the afterlife, and I am its Grim Reaper!

A quick getaway from you current lore! Amnesia!

"A star, perhaps? I do not remember stars being so big."

She watched as the little ball of fire flew over the tangled wood, its glowing radiance growing with each passing second. The mages gathered behind her, following its path with almost desperate curiosity. Slowly, one by one, the realization of what this mass of fire dawned on them. Screams slowly rose from the group before being extinguished by the great explosion caused by the meteorite crashing into the small area.

It was a small meteorite, only about the size of a pendants jewel by the time it struck the ground, but what an explosion it was. It's blast zone only barely skimmed their lair, their beloved clan, and it all fell to ruin. The memories of who once lived there quickly washing away like foliage in a flood.

It was morning before she woke, and she woke in a panic. Jolting upright, she quickly scanned the detritus around her. Others rose from the rubble as well, and she counted their heads. She had gotten to about twenty before she realized she had no idea what she was counting.

"Where am I? What's going on?"

A chorus of questions rose from the confused group. Each one getting progressively anxious. Eventually, they all began asking the same, burning question that scratched at their memories like a desperate cat longing to be let in. A question that flodded their already tired and panicked minds. A question that, when pondered by most, would be quickly answered.

"What's my name?"

You don't need to use it. Goodness knows I might for some future dragon. Have a nice night!

There was a time he thought a single
