Ever thought, "one day _____ will happen to me" or "Imagine if ____ happened" moment? I had that, when hatchling a Nov egg a very good friend gave to me, and, alas, it happened. An XYY baby noc, with really nice colours. And, to make things better, I found a random shiny in lets go today too.
Anyone else had extreme luck just as they were thinking it?

lol, I had something like that happen after the update to the Arena venue. I was grinding for a poodle mith, and I fought an undying featherback and thought "heh, it would be funny if the boss dropped instead." And then it did. Then one battle later was a featherback, and I thought "no way they'll both drop."

Me: "Huh, I've been grinding for a long time in the Arena for Strange Chests."
Me: "Hey, wasn't Arena the good place for getting Eliminate drops before the two reduxes?"
Me: "Oh, wait, no, it was the good place for getting currency during fests ahaha.
Me: "Wouldn't it be cool if I got an Eliminate whilst grinding for chests?"
Me: "Nah, never gonna happen. It didn't happen last year or the year before and I grinded way more then."
I found out there was finally a visible difference between male and female eevee today and thought "Hmm, the girl rate's pretty low, but I hope I get one." Boom. My partner in Let's Go is a girl. XD
Also, yesterday actually, I went "Huh, last christmas pair to hatch, imagine if I get something super rare that turns it into a spooky child."
