Hey their I'm hoping something like this is allowed? I'm just curious about everyones craziest times either renting someones nest or having a nest rented! Feel free to make them long winded or short and brief so long as you:
DO NOT NAME THE RENTER/RENTEE Lets keep this anonymous please folks

I have a story for both renting an being rented from :)

First of renting:
A few years ago (3ish) I had the perfect pair to make a fan dragon of mine and needed a wind nest. Someone responded to my request and I sent them over, all seemed right with the world. They then promptly went offline and I havent seen them since :/

Now of being Rented:
I have two actually, first off kind of similar to the above story, someone asked if they could use my ice nest, I happily obliged, they had a nest of 5! They dragons hatched and the person went off line and did NOT return. I was stuck holding onto 7 dragons for about a month, eventually I sold off/exalted the hatchlings since those are replaceable (minus one that I liked I kept and still have him) and held onto the parents for another month but still didnt recieve contact from them so I had to sell them off too. On one hand I felt guilty doing it but on the other hand it had been two months and not a single word.

A little disclaimer : I rent out my nests for free (as many do) so it's kind of common decency to give dragons that are well fed enough to breed.... this person sent me dragons with Empty food meters!! (for those unaware dragons need to be at a certain state of well fed to be able to breed) I ended up feeding them and then went to breed them and as it turned out the dragons were related so I couldn't!! I told the owner and was I was pretty upset about their lack of care and no compensation and I didnt even recieve a sorry or thanks :/

One time we accidentally leveled a dragon someone gave us for a nest rental because we mistook it for fodder :D

My hands would break the sound barrier with how fast I would've hit the block button after that interaction.

@Hisagi thats a bit more harsh than I'd be capable of but what I good way for them to learn their lesson

@Shydragon327 aw weggs suck! I had that happen to me and I was Borrowing the dragons from two different users (trying to hatch a specific dragon). I had to crawl back like 'pls... can i pls breed once more'. Thats good you got some lore out of it atleast

Wildest story I have is that I sent two dragons to a friend for Shadow eyes and got a Primal out of it?? I sold her for like 300G iirc. Her brother ended up being the dragon I wanted, too (though he got Metallic instead of Iridescent, rrrgh).

I mostly use friends' nests for breeding when I need different eye colors, but I've used rental services before and had no problem. Guess I'm lucky :'D
