To make lore easier to write and help snappers be equal, functioning members of dragon society snapper lives matter I have come up with this headcanon:

Snappers do have fingers/toes. They are hidden by their large, hoof-like nails, which protect them. The nails are so big you cannot see the fingers, but they're their. Albeit stubby and small, they can move separately and act just like normal hands, if slightly chubbier than usual. This allows them to pick up and put down things like other dragons.

this headcanon is going to make my lore so much easier

I got really excited that I could use this in my lore and then I realized I have no snappers.....

I didn't quite notice before. But still, the hammer and the chisel on their table. Obviously it's for Tomo and not Scribble. Maybe Snappers can actually hold items in their... hands.

so you're saying that snappers have retractable fingers/claws like cats?

My headcanon is that snappers use their wings like hands. It's not like they fly with them anyway.

Wind and Arcane snappers have some form of levitation.
