A while back I went on a spree of Emperor Dragon related lore questions, and I just thought of another (rather morbid) one.
Obv, the lore goes that when 4-11 Imperials die, they form Emperor dragons. sO does that mean Imperial dragons can't be buried? Or buried together? What happens to the bodies to prevent Emperors o.o share spooky headcanons

I don't see why you couldn't bury them alone. Can't make an emperor if you've only got one imperial. The question is "how far apart do they need to be buried".

So I assume that rather than tempting fate trying to answer my previous question, they probably just cremate them.

I don't see why you couldn't bury them alone. Can't make an emperor if you've only got one imperial. The question is "how far apart do they need to be buried".

I believe that buried imp bodies have to be at least a kilometer away from each other so they don't become an emperor. Otherwise...

just like, cremate them i guess? or perhaps surround them in a magical barrier to stop the emperors from forming?

(Not necessarily done by other Imperials. Whatever is super hungry and around would work.)
No flesh, no zombie!
Then the remains are tossed into Cairnstone Rest and it's Earth's problem then.

so uh.....that said, how quickly do emperors form? it would just be terrible if they were cremating imp bodies individually and then they all just rOSE UP FROM THE FIRES AND FUSED AND BECAME DEATH, DESTROYER OF WORLDS
