I understand from the name it's like a frozen-over astrolabe,
but why is it levitating? Is it sentient? Magnetic? Magical?
I like how it's drawn but it's at the same time VERY weird.

Huh... Never actually thought about that. Not even when I was in Ice.
But I understand what you mean. When I joined I thought the eroded crystalhide was an ice item because it matches so well with the chillspike crown and collar xD
