type it out always! It annoys me when I had to get my cursor in between them, but I’m also on mobile so it’s a bit different for me

I'm used to typing the text effects, but for images, I usually just use the buttons

I use the buttons for images, type everything else out.

Ohhhh! I type it out. Thought you were talking about BBcode from the dergs. I only use the buttons for that.

A mix of both-- obviously, if it doesn't have a button, type it out, but everything else (excluding quotes and text alignments) I use those buttons. It helps because I easily forget to close the brackets and may accidentally bold the entire post if I type it, oops
