I love them, I was just looking at a dragon's parents and they're on shadow pillars and it just hit me all of a sudden how pretty Shadow's exalt pillar is. It's so pretty! Not enough to make me move to shadow but just aesthetics on point. [emoji=coatl love] I love all the pillars

The Artwork for most of them is sooo great.

Yeah, I love Wind's pillar in particular because it's so creative and dynamic... I was in Wind when I first joined but I had to move to Ice because of the eye colour thing, and I was sad about that.

I really like them too tbh. Light’s pillar hits my aesthetic goals of my lair right on the head. Lights everywhere? Check!

I like them all...except my own, the Nature. :'I
It's not bad, but it feels oddly void of decoration and details compared to the rest.
It could have had vines, flowers, moss, and generally look more "lush".
All the green in the image looks like that "late summer, really dry, about to die" green. To me at least.

I feel bad about being so displeased of relatively small detail (that also took time and effort to make nontheless) but waaah.

Some of my favourites are the Ice with it's blue firn ice and Wind with it's GREEEEEEEEEEEN.

It really is gorgeous! One of my favorites. And it's funny, because my issue with some of the other pillars was 'too bright', and then Light's came along with mist and shadows and I could stare at it for hours...go figure!

I always feel guilty about hearing stuff like that because I was so happy Nature's was just green and brown (I'm not a big flower person), but I wish my liking it didn't have to come at the expense of many other players getting a more vibrant version. I've heard a lot of people say that Wind's is more like what they would have expected for Nature, which I can understand.

If I could remake it myself I'd add only small, perhaps only one colour of flowers, and lots of moss and vines. To give it a more "old growth" look. It already has that going for it, which I like.

For example, another art piece I'd like to nitpick is the Blooming grove, that I do like for it's variety and vibrancy, but I find it look like somebody's backyard garden with too many different coloured flowers that also seem to be planted in flowerbeds.
...then again, the mental image of all that brawling going on right behind some poor old lady's window is pretty funny.

I know, I just feel bad not everybody enjoys it as much...pity it would probably be too complicated for us to be able to choose between multiple pillar designs.

And lol, I can't unsee that now. I never noticed the steps in the background, but you're right, they absolutely lead right to somebody's back door. "I love my garden, and watching the pretty, delicate little Cerdae come to...WHAT ARE THOSE DRAGONS DOING TO THEM????"

Luckily it's a relatively tiny disappointment, hopefully for other people too who found it a bit lackluster. :3

Yeah, that garden is probably just a muddy crater after some imperials and hippos have wrestled in there.
