Yup, it's another one of those threads. I just wanted help stoke the hype just a bit to make everyone suffer from impatience by adding a few other things I've noticed recently.
For starters, there haven't been many new genes being released over the first third of this year (the only one we have received is peacock). Though this can be counteracted due to the absolutely massive lair revamp update we received back in February.
The main thing that only helps feed this even more is the fact that we haven't gotten many apparel releases either, and the apparel we have received have been recolors of older stuff. being the flower stuff. Recolors are not nearly as much of an undertaking as implementing a new set of apparel all together.
Thirdly, the small updates. Now, I know this doesn't come off as very significant, but hear me out. In order for the staff to keep its userbase satisfied, they still have to provide regular updates, even when undertaking massive projects such as implementing a new breed. So in order to keep us busy, they've released small updates; emojis, quality-of-life updates, and finally, those gosh darn wildclaw scrolls.
Small updates, so that they have the energy to direct their focus to something much larger, like that new breed everyone is already raving for.

Yeah, I've noticed these things as well and while I hate to jump to conclusions and be disappointed, it's been making me suspicious... From the regular pattern of things we're due for something more significant to be released and my little goblin brain is just whispering It's been 2 years, new breed time, new breeeeed!!!

The price will drop eventually, though! It might take a year or two, but it'll happen :P

though aren't they also working on other large projects like the new world map (and site recoding if i'm not mistaken)? and the recolors did include new art (garlands, tail leis, wing bows, leg bows, etc). it's possible they've been focusing on those projects as well, so i'm a little skeptical :'D
