My first boss in Redrock Cove was the deeprealm diver or whatever it's called, the purple whale, which is what I wanted when I was a noobie, AND it dropped.
The first bosses you'll encounter are DEVASTATING because you're low level, but they're easier once you're a higher level.
I s2g I heard stories about the hydras being all-powerful or hard or something, and they're SUPER easy

It was a purple whale back at Redrock Cove...
I despised that thing. I just wanted to train my dragons back then but it appeared 3-4 times in a row and just decimated my entire team.

Absolutely freaked out when I got the purple one though, I had met 5 yellow ones at the time and didn't know there were recolors
