I know hearing about other peoples good fortune isn't always as hopeful as people mean it to be, but I'm sending all well wishes and good luck your way! I usually feel that same exact way, (didn't get my first eliminate until two years after I joined) but I've honestly had pretty good luck recently!
I've gotten I think 3 eggs in the past 2 months and I have 4 Hypnotic vials from grinding for only about 2ish hours! I would highly suggest farming the Training Grounds for the eyes! I trained a dragon in the Mire up to level 10 with no vials, then went to the Training Grounds and got one after my first battle!
As for eggs, all I can say is RNG seems to favor those that aren't actually looking for a specific thing, lol. So like try going to a random venue and farming for an apparel set and you may be surprised!
Anyway, I wish you the best of RNG luck and hope you have some fun grinding!! ^u^

I've found that if you look for something you get what you're not looking for.
I'm looking for swirl vials and just getting birds??
Also in terms of RNG in general, I havent found an egg since I started keeping them for a mass hatch. Not looking like a "mass hatch" currently.
