I'm starting a sort of lineage/lore project that breeds second-gens, and it got me thinking... does anyone collect g2s in particular? If so, why? I'm breeding them for the fun of it, but I was wondering if there is anyone out there who'd actually be looking for dragons like them.

I'm starting a sort of lineage/lore project that breeds second-gens, and it got me thinking... does anyone collect g2s in particular? If so, why? I'm breeding them for the fun of it, but I was wondering if there is anyone out there who'd actually be looking for dragons like them.
I don't collect them, but I do enjoy them for my lore.. I like to include where a dragon came from, who their parents are. Hard to do that with pairs you snag off the AH who are gen318s
I got a sweet progen kid for my own coatl G1 couple's son. If I breed my G1s, I'm keeping the kids lol

I don't think there's a market specifically for G2s outside Imperials.
The reason being that G2s aren't different from any other non-G1 generation dragon. (except for Imperials, as G2 is the lowest generation most people can get)
If you're collecting them and you enjoy collecting them, then I say go for it! Don't let the niche of it prevent enjoyment of playing the game the way you want. :D

I think g1 breeding pairs are cool, and I don't buy dragons that aren't g1 or g2 anymore so it's a nice change to get something fully gened already.

honestly, i try to only grab g2 dragons if they have really neat lore, which i find in subspecies or lineage projects :/
of course, there are a few that are excluded from that, and it bothered me so much i had to make a guardian who's charge was the well being of lost hatchlings.

I collect G2s! From progens only though. I feel that they are even more valuable to me than G1s. I like that they are a reminder of your humble beginnings!

i have my own g2 dragon that i gened up real nice from basic, and i love her a lot
