I don't think people really care about the vistas other people have, it's all a matter of what YOU think looks cool.
People sometimes change their vistas/avatars to match when festivals come around. Others care about aesthetics. Others don't!

Personally, I just go with what vista I have that I want to use. Soo, typically, that's usually either Grimore or Blooming Grove. Grimore because I love books and my Progen is a story collector. Blooming Grove because flowers are Nice.
There's a lot of good ones, so I can understand it being hard to choose just one. If you end up loving too many vistas, maybe you could buy them all and then rotate them throughout the week or something. Maybe match them to your profile avatar like others are suggesting?
