So what do you think will the next 'big' update be?
E.g. Genes, New Venue, Map Update, Breed?

The last gene we got was peacock in January (it's been ages that we didn't get a new gene every month), the last 'big' apparel update was in January as well and it was mostly an update with new colors and a few new items.
So yeah, art wise it's not much this year.
Do you think anything big will come soon? Maybe the Map Revamp or... probably a new breed?
And when do you think will the next updates be?

I've been pondering this as well. Most updates we have are minor or festivals.
Minor things like; revamp of existing apparel sets, new eyes, community updates. Small things.
And then we have the festivals everyone knows is coming and then the micro holidays, which - let's be honest - aren't major updates either. They're cool and I love the exp bonus, but all they add is two new familiars and two new food items.

I really have my fingers crossed this means they'rw working on something big and awesome! For me, the biggest and best thing they could be working on, is a new breed. The lack of costumization updates could indicate something big is coming, buut... I'll ajust my tinfoil hat a bit with that theory.

I do think the lack of new apparel or genes is foreshadowing that something big is going to come soon. Whether that's a new breed or not, I don't know. But I think the fact that Marva's masks had to do with breeds might be a hint that the next update will have something to do with a new dragon breed. It's been a while since Bogsneaks so it seems we're due for a new breed. However, I won't be disappointed if it's a map revamp.

I don't really think Adventure Mode is even being worked on anymore, or if it is development is moving as slow as molasses. So I don't even really think of it as something in the realm of even happening, ever. BUT. That just means if it does happen, I will be pleasantly surprised.

I mean... I agree with Phenri here. It seems a little susupicious that we’ve had nothing for genes or new apparel since January, which suggests that staff are busy drawing assets for a new breed instead... But there’s also the map update.

However! The map update has been announced, while the possibility of a new breed has not! Anniversary updates are NEVER announced before they come, so if you ask me, we’re getting the map within the next month and a new breed for the anniversary.

Additionally, last year when we got hyped for a new breed on the anniversary, staff were quick to say, “No, you’re not getting a new breed.” This time however, no moves have been made to disprove any threads like these... so we can only hope.

@MagicmakerRose Actually there was one anniversary update we knew we'd get. The 3rd anniversary colour update (the vistas were not announced tho)

But yeah it's pretty suspicious that we didn't get anything big the last three months now. I really hope for the map update or something else.

Someone mentioned that maybe the emoji are leading up to a new breed - that staff is timing it, and after the last current breed emoji set is released, the new breed will be released. But idk. I'd love either a new breed, or a whole bunch of new familiars, like a new Coli venue or something.
