Anyone else feel me? Like, a map update is cool, I'm not complaining about it in it of itself, but y'know what would be even cooler?
A new breed.
I would much, much rather get a new breed than a bunch of improvements to pre-existing things.
We know something big is coming up since nothing's happened since January and the anniversary is approaching, but I don't want to get excited and then have another quality of life update :/
I want new stuff. Like NEW new stuff. Not old stuff with new qualities.
I don't want to come off as whiny or rude, just wondering if anyone else is feeling the same?

i dont agree tbh, like they could release 56754 new breeds but if theyre not gonna change/improve other things around the site, whats the point?
a map revamp might not be the MOST exciting thing but its interesting, definitely! and with an expansion on the map i think that in itself could pave the way for more interesting updates.

Oh I absolutely agree that new breeds shouldn't always be priority, it's just the fact that we haven't had one in so long. I'm not opposed to improvements to old things, as long as there is some new stuff regularly inbetween!

Yeah I get you, it has been a while for a new gene, new apparels update and I'm starving for more option for my G1.
New map, new lore are cool, but they have no use to me.

Did I miss something and was it announced that a map update was happening?
Anyway, new stuff isn't always the best. The site is several years old and there are a lot current things that shouldn't be ignored for updates just because new things could happen instead.
Working on a new map, as an example, doesn't mean that a new breed won't happen, as well? Or any other new things. I think on a scale of time, updating old things probably don't take as long as implementing entirely new things, especially something as massive as a new dragon breed.

yeah while i definitely have been craving a new breed i think a map update is most likely to come first, just because it seems like an easier thing to make happen. of course the ideal route is that we get a map update that somehow segues into getting a new breed... pretty unlikely but hey we can dream right

Also I'm more excited for the map update because I am waiting to do any major location stuff for my lore until it's out. Because, well, I want to see where everything is placed.
