TOPIC | Fake sub-regions!

In my Lore, there are quite a few more Flight sub-regions (most of which are still WIPs). I was just curious if anyone else had made I guess you'd say "fake" sub-regions for their Lore? If so, please tell me about them! edit; and tell me in the finest of details, if you have the time =) I'm working on getting my Lore together, and I feel like talking about Lore will give me inspiration XD

*Cracks knuckles* Love these lore-based threads. [emoji=heart] I'm all about regions underneath the surface. In my lore, there's a surreal amount of tunnels, caves, etc all over Sornieth, especially in Earth, Shadow, Fire, and even Arcane. For when my clan was in Earth, I imagined that young drakes would dare one another to explore what I call the Harrowing Mines. Once full of dragons mining for semi-precious and precious ores and gemstones, they were now full of specters, coal fires, and noxious gasses. Though some say that treasures can still be found within, one will surely find more bones of those unfortunate enough to have met their end in those mines than anything remotely valuable. For Shadow, the flight my clan is currently living in, the tunnels there don't have a name yet, but the deeper one goes into them, the larger the mushrooms grow... As well as the threats within. Mushrooms that are incredibly rare on the surface are plentiful within, but there are also many more poisonous mushrooms; some even appearing as edible mushrooms, but with minute differences that only an expert could detect. Dunno what's with me and underground realms, but it makes for a lot more flexibility since FR's lore doesn't talk much about what goes on within Sornieth's subsurface! [emoji=ridgeback tongue]

Idk if it counts, but I have an underground factory. It’s basically a dragon sweatshop for scroll production.

On the lighter side though, I do have a Lighthouse situated on the edge of the Wyrmwound! It’s used to keep maniacs from getting too close.

@Rookery That's certainly cool! Not much of an underground person myself as far as living there is concerned, but I'd love to explore caves like that *v*

@NeophyteRedglare Nice! When you say "scrolls", what type we talking about here? Like, gene/breed scrolls, or just scrolls for writing on?

@kyrin18 Same!! I have mad claustrophobia, but caves are a really odd exception for me, so long as they're not tight and tiny. Maybe that's why I make them very large and expansive in my lore, lol! [emoji=ridgeback tongue]

@Kyrin18 Gene/breed scrolls. The part I focus on is a fake scroll that is the equivalent of the fountain of youth. If you’re curious, here’s probably the best summary of my lore in the factory! As far as m loremaking brain decided, Everybody in the shifting expanse lives underground and some monopolize specific hole areas to be hotels/motels.

i've been messing around with lore lately and i've been thinking of empires, which are basically clans that got super big and populated to the point where civilization developed and there's royalty etc etc

i came up with it when i was thinking about the backstory of one of my dergs, who is from a noble bloodline. the empire her family was a part of fell during a war and another empire took over so she ran away with a knight to avoid execution. still working out the specifics and how to write it but hope it helps somehow~

Tho in my lore, these tunnels were a huge web connecting all flights who have some amount of mainland together(island-part of Starfall isles, Southern Icefield and Viridian Labyrinth are thus not connected to it) They are ancient, build by first dragons way back, and they were used a a way to travel faster to other areas and even as a way to sell goods, since many of the tunnels are big enough that imperial pair can walk through them without lowering their heads. However, something happened, and tunnels were abandoned before fading to obscurity. Nowadays these 'secret' tunnels are used by the criminals, smugglers and alike, but even they won't go to the deepest and oldest parts of tunnels, because there resides the old evil, hiding from the sight of the deities and dragons.
