Those are the new eyes! Bottom left is arcane's primal eye which is supposed to represent the element.

the thing on its head is a new eye type called primal. each flight has a differnet primal eye style that can rarely be had. for example fire flights look like flames coming out of their eyes. the lil left bab has arcane primal eyes, which look like, well. that. lol
if you go to the scrying workshop you can see all the new eye options:3

last summer on the anniversary, eye types were introduced to the site.
you can read all about it on the thread; that's easier than retyping it all here.
the tl;dr is that all babies you hatch have a random chance to have those new eye types and colors. some, like swirl and glowing, can only be gotten from vials you can obtain (from the coliseum and the gem MP respectively)

also the familiar uprising was the april fools thing this year, they switched the familiars with the dragons. so basically when you went to the lair you would see all the familiars
