It seems that...a female fae produces eggs that looks about the same size as eggs produced by female imperials, right? In addition, male imperials are about 25m long. Female faes are probably 1m. Imagine that for a moment——but how does that work? As to these confusion, I asked some of my friends and then got the answer: [i]breeding dance[/i]. While none of them could say where this version came from. I also did a search shortly afterwards ("ask the team", Encyclopedia, etc), but still couldn't find the answer. So...does [i]breeding dance[/i] come from official documents? Or just a rumor? (English is not my first language. Sorry for possible problems of grammar[emoji=tundra sad size=1])

This question comes up a lot, and most of the time we all just give ridiculous answers because 1) no one really knows and 2) it's fun. ~Magic~ is pretty popular, along with snoot boops. Breeding dance is probably just another fun answer.

As far as I'm aware, there is no canon or onsite lore of how breeding between two vastly sized dragon species works, so the answer can be whatever you want it to be.

I can only speculate what you mean by breeding dance (pre mating courtship?) and what it has to do with the size of eggs.

It's a kind of magic~

I assume external fertilisation. And eggshells can also grow/stretch to fit a hatchling bigger than the egg initially was.

[/quote] Err...according to my friends' description, it's like a procedure that the couple dance before the deity and then the deity grants them eggs by judging their performance. This version does solve the size problem, I assume.

I was reading this and thinking of some of the breeding dances my stupid dragons might do:

• A long elegant dance filled with ribbons of silk and magic itself, complete with ancient chanting
• The hokey pokey
• Macarena
• Raspa con limón
• Regional folklórico dancing (all the pretty dresses and candles on heads)
• Fortnite dances
• Awkward swaying back and forth with off beat wing moments
• Really bad ballet
• Suggestive dancing but it just looks like dog trying to throw up on a carpet
• Cowboy dances that my mom made me do when I was in elementary school in the southern U.S.
