Gleam’s flight had been diverted as she followed the swath of destruction to its source, circling around from what she hoped was a safe distance as the monstrous Emperor laid waste to all before it. Huge tracts of field and forest lay burned to cinders in the creature’s wake. Its three rotting heads roared in deafening cacophony, drawing a flinch from Gleam.

The Lightweaver may have created the Imps, but what causes them to be reanimated?
I'm looking at the rest of you, Plague flight

Yeah Emperors are basically a bunch of dead imps.

I doubt it had anything to do with the Plague Flight, at least not intentionally. Plaguebringer doesn't approve of Emperors (zombies, essentially), so she wouldn't have reanimated them knowingly.

plaguebringer doesn't really like undead things, surprisingly (though it's kinda logical once you think about it i guess?) - i think it's more of a design flaw on lightweaver's part :P plus, most dead things tend to rot, not just dead plague things

Oi, don't blame us for that gods mistakes. Imperials were made from dead parts in the first place, that was shoved full of Lightweaver's energy, I'm sure this was a great idea. It surely went well for all those involved.

Lightweaver, the First Necromancer.

Plague has nothing to do with undead. If anything, Earthshaker should be blamed more often; there's walking bones roaming around his territory and terrorizing excavators [emoji=mirror angry size=2]

Well... It's basically "Recycling Gone Wrong" situation. Lightweaver should've asked advice from either Plaguebringer or Gladekeeper first.
