I'd love it if this site used lifelike heredity, and we would all be Gregor Mendel tending to our dragon crops.
With a dominant and a recessive gene for each of primary, secondary and tertiary.
maybe one of your dragons have visible python but carry an inactive iridescent that could be activated in one of the hatchlings?
and maybe mutations could happen
what are your thoughts on this?

Agreeeeeee
But also it might make things complicated, and if it automatically affects all dragons on the website, then anyone who has a breeding pair for a specific set of genes would have to breed like crazy until there's only a possibility of those specific genes (this really made more sense in my head trust me)

Waywind Wanderers
We will wander wherever the wind takes us.

It would be cool, but such a major change to the breeding would probably receive tons of backlash
Which sucks
Because I LOVE ME SOME PUNNET SQUARES

I enjoy FR because of it's relative simplicity in its breeding mechanics. I do not enjoy other pet sites with more complicated mechanics and generally abandon them when I realize how their mechanics work ol

Why does air even come in different temperatures?
Sylestia uses something like that, and let me tell you: It's awful. You can't even tell what genetics your pet has unless you shell out money for them, and most everything you breed turns out a muddy color.

I love pings! Don't be afraid to ping me; I tend to miss a lot of replies, even if they're right after my own post, so please, please ping if you want me to see!

Like someone else mentioned, I like FR for its simplicity when it comes to breeding, compared to Horse Eden, that does use real genetics.
It would be cool if Ancient Breeds used real genetics instead, so we could have a play at both though! Real genetics can be fun, but I wouldn't want FR restricted to just realism.

It's kinda fun, lots of other pet sites have it, but I gotta say I prefer FR. Much easier to get a predictable outcome, nice colours etc.

Breeding projects would be hell.
