hello there today i am curious to know why you all think(i do too im probably making it sound like i think yall are wrong but anyways) FR is better than the other games similar to it
in my opinion, i like it because of the art and the simplicity. like in other games, its really hard to find out how to get to places as a beginner, but in FR, its really easy because the tabs on the side, you can just click them and its not hard at all. and the art, tbh i also like how there are dragons and its really creative and its also based on aesthetic and stuff but yeah i wanna know u guys opinion

For one thing, they don't punish you that much for not being active. Other pet games, if you're not on them every minute of the day it'll be "All of them DIED!!"

Also, it's just more fun and unique than most of them.

The dress up and lore aspect is fun. I just personally love messing around with outfits and bio codes :'D

1. Open but tight-knit community.
2. Relatively relaxed rules on cross-site trading, art, etc.
3. Dragons.
4. Active forums
5. A decent forum system (looking at you, Neopets)

no premium membership exclusive stuff :) even ks items, while initially paid for with real $, are obtainable. it’s nice that the site doesn’t force you to spend any irl money if you can’t/don’t want to. there’s also no pressure to collect everything. i like that it’s a casual thing

I like how even if you leave for a while, you can come back to your dragons and they won't be auto retired or too old to breed or something, just hungry.

I know this one might seem a bit weird, but I also like the limitations of the colour/gene system. Like, you don't have dragons with about a dozen muddy hidden markings that can easily screw up the offspring and a dozen more visible markings of various opacities. Instead, you have a set colourwheel and space for three genes, with no hidden/visible or opacity stuff to mess with.

The level of customization you can do for no real-world cost is far and above anything the competitors offer.

Most other similar sites have pet customization locked behind a paywall that costs premium currency to remove, and even then the level of customization is below what FR offers.

Most other sites lock the equivalent of apparel completely behind a paywall, so unless you shell out your pets are gonna stay naked. Others have no apparel equivalent at all, and only let you change the base image to a custom one for a cool $25+ with no customization beyond that. Still others barely have any customization, and just let you pick out the appearance of you pet from the pre-built site assets, yet still charge you a good chunk of change.

FR has skins/accents, sure, but they're not the main focus of customization. Breeds, genes, and apparel are all mostly bought with treasure that can be earned through on-site tasks.

Also, on other sites trying to trade for enough premium currency can be really obnoxiously hard since the common currency is basically worthless, and the premium currency is the 'main' currency so if you don't shell out you can't get anything worthwhile. On FR, 95%+ of stuff is bought through treasure, so it still retains value and you can get most stuff without having to pay, and even when you want something with premium currency you'll always find someone willing to trade, even if the rates are always rising and grinding up enough treasure to get anything good can be time-consuming.

Basically, FR's done a good job making things feel like you're not being pressured into spending real money because you can get a good experience without it. The premium stuff is just a cherry on top, rather than being the cherry, the whipped cream, the chocolate sauce, the spoon, and the bowl.

Nice forums for one, it's hard to stay actively interested in any media if I'm not also interested in the community. Then there's the fact that I don't have to be on every single second of the day, or even every day to not get punished or lose out on profit. Though, the biggest reason has to be the sheer amount of customization for dragons. It really makes it feel like.... they're unique, they're mine. They have personality and a story, and they aren't just something someone can have an exact or near identical copy of with no distinct features.
