So how much do you think the ancient breeds are going to vary in comparison to our modern breeds?
Because I have hopes to see all sorts of new breeds with all sorts of extra limbs or lack of limbs. But my true hopes for this is to see some ancient breeds based off undels other art such as some of the beta designs for tidelord, earthshaker, and what I assume to be the origins of the bone fiend.

A lot I imagine. The staff seemed happy with the freedom to do as they liked now that they don't have the restriction of apparel.
I'm hoping that it's the earth ancient from the something shifting earth BotE stuff.

I feel it's not going to be a Water breed first off due to them stating that there would be no Tidelord-ish lore for the Anniversary. I rather hope for Gaolers myself, or whatever is making itself known to the Earthshaker.
Or you know, something bust out from the new volcano with how the Flamecaller is trying to keep the world from blowing up.

gotta admit, this thread randomly inspired me to make a lightning ancient concept, I’ll be back with sketches later (maybe I’ll do a few others too even though I should be working on other stuff)
