I used my scrolls on two dragons I thought looked awesome on gaoler-exclusive genes and they are waaaaaay beyond g1/g2/g3. One was even a coatl! (ScillaSiberica) I know the cool thing to do is breed pure g2s or have no kids at all so I always feel like I'm doing it wrong when I use a scroll on a basically fodder breeding dragon.

Since I want all my lore/G1 permas to have apparel, Ancient breed scrolls will all be used on my non-G1 breeding pairs :)

I just found some cuties on the ah with colors i liked. I don't have the patience for any more g1 projects than the ones I already have ^^;

oh yeah both of mine so far are non-g1's! I wanted xxy dergs so I bought 'em! :D

My only Gaoler boy is not a gen1 either! He was a Coatl too, before. He just looks way too pretty with the right genes!

Yup - I bought 3 from the AH whose colors I liked, so no G1 Gaolers for me! Just get whatever dragons you like best :)

I had a breeding pair (Ridgeback/Pearlcatcher) that had ice primary and tertiary genes, with a range of blue for secondary. I didn't hesitate to pick them to become my Gaolers, since they produce a pretty range of ice-themed colors.

...Also since I hadn't given my clanbound Goat gene to anything yet, they're both Goat-eyed Gaolers….because those eyes and antlers look good together, even though their eyes are small you can still kinda see it.
