I wonder...have the (Gaoler) genes have been added to the gene bonus pool? There's probably going to be a lot of confusion if so (not to mention said pool being diluted further by genes from a breed that won't hit the fodder floor for a while yet.)

If not, will Gaolers just never be eligible for gene bonuses at all, or will the 'parallel' genes give bonuses on them (eg, if the day's bonus is Bee, can you exalt a Gaoler with 'Bee (Gaoler)' to get the bonus)?

I hate to think of raffle/buy attendants having to either reject a bunch of PAs or take a wallet hit because that batch of Underbelly Gaolers they just got don't give the extra treasure.

Hopefully someone sees/knows this before rollover, because since (G) genes make up a good chunk of all existing genes now, this could become relevant quickly.

Today's gene is Butterfly, so I guess the question remains...

i'm curious to see this as well! i'd assume with how differentiated they are, they'd be separate now, but i guess we'll have to see :/ i hope staff makes a clarification on this as well

[/quote] Oh, I'm sure it's been done, I just mean 'acquiring a big batch of them (to control for randomness) with gene bonus and exalting them all to check against average exalt payout'. That'll be a much easier way to find out! I'm sure they'd be eligible for color bonuses, but genes remain the question.
