Flight Rising Discussion

Like are they gonna be every 2-3 months? 2-4 every year or something? Or maybe even 1 every month based on festivals?
I’ve had this question but I was afraid to ask it idk why tho

I'm thinking possibly two a year, but I think even that may be stretching it... one every year seems almost too slow though. I'm not sure, it depends on how much content they have stockpiled, I think. Since they don't have to do apparel, that helps.

I assume they'll focus on the elements that currently lack breeds.

They are gonna take a while, the first ancient breed is a BIG deal.

Unsure. Definitely more often than moderns though. I feel like because the first is actually implemented now, it'll be easier to code new ones in. Because of that, I think the biggest thing that'll make production slower is just drawing new genes and such. Hopefully we'll have a lot more ancients by the next new modern breed

I think that's what they want to do though.

I'm really hoping it is more often than one every two years. If that is the case, it will be 20-22 years before all the elements have an ancient. I will be ancient by then [emoji=gaoler scared size=1]! I think that now that they have the system implemented, it might be easier to release new ancients, but I'm not the devs, so I don't know. I do know they worked hard on the Gaolers and that, with all the art and genes, it takes time, so I am grateful for the Gaolers and I am just happy that they are releasing new breeds. I can't help it, though. I'm already looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us next and it would be kind of nice if we didn't have to wait a full year to find out what that is. Edit: I just saw the bars and that makes a whole lot of sense. It does kind of worry me, though, because modern breed releases usually happen more at a rate of two to three years. I haven't seen one modern breed per year and they have already confirmed that we are not going to see one for a little while. Going off the time it takes to release a modern breed, that would mean we would get an Ancient every 1.5 - 2 years. Possibly longer.

I mean, if they're scaled that's more like 5-6 a year, since the festival thing has four and there's 11 plus night of the nocturne and all the mini events, etc. I don't think it's meant to be that precise.
I'm guessing ~3 a year? Idunno how quickly that can do things when they don't have to deal with art backlog, but they said that was the biggest hold up. I feel like they're gonna start teasing the next one at the end of the month, lol. Most of the point of ancients was to get new breeds out faster but I'm not sure how *much* faster. I suppose we'll see.
