In my personal opinion I think the female gaoler looks the best-- the male isn't bad at all, but it isn't as 'dynamic' as the one the female pose gives.
The female looks like she's about to face a battle of some sort, while the male is just... looking at something.
I also believe that the genes just look 'better' on the females, especially with weathered. ( I love how there are markings on the horns, but on males there isn't any of that. )
Which gaoler pose do you like the best? Male, female, or even the hatchling pose?

i like the female, especially the arched tail. makes it look so big and soft, i wanna take a nap on it. scorpion definitely works better on them for that reason. the hatchling is just very unsettling with the wide eye underneath the hair

I'm also a fan of how the females pose! Their posture gives off a lot of the fiercer vibes that I think the lore / description was aiming for when the devs wrote about Gaolers.
It also definitely gives more space for the patterns of genes and such to be shown off properly. I think perhaps it's meant to emulate Tundra poses, perhaps? How the male Tundras are sitting while the females stand (although female Gaolers look much cooler imo)?

I like the males! They're so regal and fluffy. The females are good too, but something about them just doesn't sit quite right with me. The hatchlings are.. downright bad to look at. The eyes are so unsettling. They look like the not dog from full metal alchemist and i am not here for it.
