Random question, how many people have lore for their gaolers? What is the lore for their gaolers like?

I planned to make a pun, but I don’t remember what it was.

I have an unfinished project to turn one of my older permas into a gaoler. In his as of yet unwritten lore, he was a high ranking member ofthe overseers in his gaoler clan, almost royalty. In his greed for power he allowed part of the shade out of its prison and allowed it to become a part of him. Of course this is a very serious crime within gaoler society. He was captured and imprisoned, but he managed to break free and escape,but not without killing several of his classmates. He wandered the world for years before finally finding my clan. Though no one in my clan knew what he was or why he was there, they reluctantly decided to let him stay as he was malnourished and sick when he arrived. He was going to be kicked out once he recovered, but it turns out my clanleader secretly knew what he was all along and had plans for him. With a powerful gaoler on his side, Azreal's rule would be stronger than ever before. I have not written it in their bios yet, but the main sorta theme with my two (so far) Gaolers is that they have a generation conflict... Well, kinda. They are close in age, but one is a "classic" Gaoler, born and raised in a Gaoler clan before the Seekers were re-established, and still carries their worldview and mindset (like their Ice nationalism, for example). The other one is a tad younger, born in the Windswept Plateau - so not ice-blessed, and as such not considered a "true" Gaoler by those in the Gaols. They're both Seekers, working together to find and subdue any Shade-touched threat there might be. The first one is rather disturbed by the thought of a non-Ice Gaoler and treats the other with reserve and some contempt, knowing that he would never be accepted back home; the other, while fully aware of his otherness, believes that a new era has arised and the old Gaolers' wievpoints and beliefs are becoming obsolete, and that soon most Gaolers are not going to be ice-blessed anymore anyway. They are trying to work together and understand each other while trying to protect the world from evil. Well, that's what I've got so far, at least :)

Mine has two:
The one that follows the rest of the clan, where she was found wandering around and lost, so my clan took her in at an age where she doesn't act wholly like a Gaoler
And the second I refer to as The Karening
If you check Gaolette's bio you'll get it from the scry

No lore written yet, but I have plans for Watchword. It will take a while for me to get to the point where he actually fits into my lore, but I have a whole story involving him and some Tundra sisters (including how one of them becomes a Gaoler) already plotted out.

I'm planning some lore for my two, Zoroaster and Avaritia. I have a Spiral, Nyctohylophobia ("Nyct") who's a psuedo-dragon. He's a Greater Horror, a type of Shade creature that takes the form of a dragon. You can check out his bio for more info on him. So basically, the lore I have planned for Zoroaster and Avaritia is that they're both members of the Seeker order, based out of a facility in the Souther Icefields, and they recieved a tip that the Engake clan was housing a Shade creature. When they arrived to capture it, they were surprised to learn that the Greater Horror had been "adopted" by a family in the clan, and was living a somewhat normal life - by dragon standards. This Shade creature didn't seem to pose a threat to the clan, but one can ever trust the Shade. If it decided to, this Greater Horror could wreak havoc on the clan like nothing they'd ever seen. So Zoroaster and Avaritia decided to move in with this clan, watching the Greater Horror so as to protect this clan if need be. Over time, Zoroaster becomes fascinated by how much the Greater Horror behaves like a dragon - so much so that sometimes he forgets it's not a dragon at all. Avaritia keeps reminding him that they shouldn't let their guard down, as the Shade is "inherently evil" and this Greater Horror is bound to turn on the clan and his adopted family one day.

Essentially, the long and short of it is that the male (Brutus) had a hard time learning Ice magic and never fit into any of the Orders, and was able to become a Seeker mostly because other Gaolers both pitied him and wanted him gone. The female (Phylacista) on the other hand was laid by two Seekers who didn't realize she would take on the elements of her surroundings rather than her parent's elements, and abandoned her after seeing that her egg was Shadow. The dragons that found her assumed that she was just a somewhat odd Tundra, because they didn't know about Gaolers yet, and so she was raised as a Tundra rather than a Gaoler. Brutus and Phylacista met each other while Brutus was Seeking in Light, and Brutus informed her of her true heritage while Phylacista introduced him to modern Sornieth.

@Kenopsian

Haha! I can just imagine those dragons' surprise when Phylacista kept growing and growing til she was like the size of a small Guardian.

"That is the biggest Tundra I have ever seen."
