Hello everyone! We have an update for you regarding pending gem purchases made since the 11th.
At this time, gem purchases remain disabled as PayPal is experiencing major technical problems with their service. Unfortunately, these problems are also temporarily preventing us from fulfilling a number of gem purchases made on the 11th and 12th.
This is because gem deliveries normally rely on PayPal's servers sending our servers an IPN message confirming payment. Right now, the problems at PayPal are preventing those messages from arriving at our server. Not only are they not sending us that information, the ongoing problems are preventing us from even seeing records confirming your payment. Because we can't see records confirming payment was made, we are unable to manually fulfill gem purchases.
Once PayPal resolves their problems, we'll be able to reconcile our purchase history with theirs and deliver gems to all players with outstanding gem purchases.
Please rest assured that if you paid for gems, you will receive them! We're sorry for the negative impact this is having on your Flight Rising experience, and thank you for your patience. We're actively monitoring the situation and will provide you with updates as more information becomes available.

After reaching out to PayPal, we have tentatively re-enabled gem sales. We are closely monitoring the gem purchasing system to see if any errors similar to the ones that occurred earlier this week appear. We are prepared to turn gem sales off without warning if they do.

Our monitoring has detected delays associated with gem purchases made since approximately 04:30 Server Time today. We have temporarily closed gem purchases again in order to assess whether this is the same problem again or not.

After observing, it appears that while delays occurred for purchases between approximately 04:30 and 05:05 Server Time today, they did eventually resolve, most within approximately an hour. As a result we have re-opened gem sales, with a caution about potential delivery delays.
The good news is that we are now receiving the IPNs for affected purchases were made on the 11th and 12th. At the rate it is going, we expect that the majority of gems purchased during this period will be fully delivered by later today.
