Been at it for 5 7 9 days and the highlights of my grinding:
2 Weathered
1 Python
3 Morphs
5 Eliminates (TWO in a single day. I've never found any Elims before either)
A butt ton of stuff to shredder at Baldwins, unsurprisingly
and of course... 0 things I actually want!
How long have you been grinding before you got either Phantom or Spirit?
Where have you been grinding most?
What highlights have you encountered while grinding?
Now, excuse me while I continue to search for these genes that are not dropping in price fast enough for me lmao
I just got Phantom and it dropped... quite quick. I trained dragons to elvel 10 (Not for exaltation) and it dropped when I almost finished the 5th level 10 dragon in the Mire. Took me... one and a half days?
But since then I never found a gene again. I need Spirit and Weathered... ._.

Never actually successfully found what I'm grinding for. My luck sucks and I lack the patience. I have, however, gotten a morph after I gave up and purchased it.

I got one last night in Thunderhead Savannah. This was after not getting one in the Mire after raising practically 100 fodder in there, though, lol. And it's the only Gaoler gene I've found so far.

I got Spirit in Scorched Forest a few days ago and sold it for 1KG. Don't remember how long time that took though. Didn't get much anything else notable worthy from that time.

A few days ago I read in a different post how these genes are really true to their names. They exist... [i]presumably[/i]. [emoji=gaoler deadpan size=2]
I'm really curious to see when and how low they will drop in price.
I wasn't around when Python/Morph got released, so I don't know how expensive they used to be... but it'll likely take a good few months before they drop to Py/Morph levels, if at all.
I'm still trying to get them too. I've been grinding a bit in the scorched forest but mostly in the mire; had some nice drops including a weathered, but not what I actually want :/

The key to grinding is to actually grind for something else. Objects only drop if you aren't looking for them.

Yeeeeah. Like, I stopped specifically farming for Nebula Starsilks and I've actually gotten quite a few since. It really does work!
And of course, I got Weathered which is the only one I don't need febudhbf a few days ago so I already sold it, but-

Yeeeeah. Like, I stopped specifically farming for Nebula Starsilks and I've actually gotten quite a few since. It really does work!

I have been grinding pretty much all of my waking time since the genes released! So far I've got

A molten wartoad
Almost the entire starsilks set (missing two pieces)
A cleaver
I have also gotten and sold over 90 food stacks of 99, and made about 2 million treasure from that, levelling fodder, and otherwise selling my junk.
I love how much money I'm making, but the fact I haven't seen a single of the genes (and I need all three) is starting to put a damper on my spirit a bit (haha)
I guess if I don't have them by the time i get exhausted with the coli I can buy them
