I dunno about anyone else, but my clan's almost entirely underground! It's kinda like a termite mound. There are lots of tunnels and chambers.
I figure it makes sense to dig down instead of building up, what with all the desert around and all. Plus the Ridgebacks, Lightning's native breed, they're specialised in digging and that must be for a reason!

My clan lives in a narrow, dead end part of the Carrion Canyon. There are tunnels and stuff in the walls but also wooden and metallic structures in between the canyon walls and all sorts of connecting pathways. There are also lightning rods to gather electricity (on top of the plateaus) and cables hung and strewn about connecting everything. The inside of the tunnels generally have cables running along them and are lit with blue light.
The landscape is pretty sparse, most similar to chaparral. Hopefully that gives you some sort of idea?

My clan lives in a hollowed out plateau with many floors and rooms that expands underground as well. It's mostly sparse desert and mountains around it.

My clan is located in the Tempest Spire, which I imagine to be filled with tunnels and caverns for the workers and residents. My clan is near the center, so it's a system of caves whose entrance leads to....more cave. But like...high-tech caves. A cross between sci-fi and steampunk, underground-ish, in the middle of a desert.

I'm still developing what my clan is after all these years of being on FR, but I've decided they're just this strange, ragtag band of dragons who traverse the deserts. They're led by a lightning mirror whose a self-proclaimed pirate. If they need to rest anywhere, they'll camp out in whichever location is most convenient at the provided moment.

frankly you can let your imagination go wild. it mostly depends on the level of technology you want your world to have.
I imagine my clan's living areas are pretty barren, mostly for utility, in a pretty impersonal complex. all the buildings are pretty unremarkable, made of stone and very dusty and worn on the outside. Aside from the museum though, all then buildings are pretty short, one floor, though big enough to comfortably hold the biggest imperial. The insides are pristine, if a bit dusty in places, and all the buildings are connected in one big sprawling mass

My clan lives in a densely populated city, think like Vegas or Dubai since they were formerly desert. Lightning clans are the most likely out of all the flights to have advanced urban areas tbh.

basically, it's a cave system with 3 main chambers open to the sky (so no ceiling except a small overhang. We live in the Thunderhead Savannah and have all sorts of cool stuff in here
