Hey guys! I've been on a hiatus for a bit and coming back I realized I finally have enough gems for a flight change to see the rest of the communities.
I rather like working with dom teams so a flight that is somewhat dom based is preferred. Any recommendations? It looks like the info I have is rather old since the current leaderboards are very different than I am used to.

I mean Earth sneezes and they get dom, but I wouldn’t be too qualified to know much about anything ^-^

hmm ok, they were just starting to be a contender when I left active play. I'm surprised they've come that far! maybe i'll vacation over there next.

Earth and Light are the two dom powerhouses right now, especially Earth. I don't know what their dom culture is actually like on the inside, just that they're always on the board.
I'm in Lightning, and we have a strong dom culture as well. Very well run. We profit push regularly! And I think you meant dom teams as in the people leading dom efforts, but we also have a teams program that I've heard good things about.

yea i don't mind not winning its more just wanting to really feel like a part of something. The one downside to light for me is theres just soooo many people doing dom that I feel kinda useless. silly but still.
Earth sounds like it might be small enough still (?) to be homey but still focused on battling a bit.

Literally just earth. There's no other big dom flights anymore. it's basically just earth dom all year round outside of the festivals because dom has become so expensive that it's not worth it to have big battles anymore, and earth is mathmatically unbeatable so it would just be fighting for second place anyway.

so is dom not really a thing any more? like just a formality or tradition more than a real battle thing?
if I remember right i left around a huge L vs P battle though I do remember it was slightly less common to have groups duke it out

Yeah pretty much. These days there's maybe 2 big formal battles a year and it's never against earth because everyone knows they'd win. Even that's going away, i haven't heard of any huge matches being scheduled in a really long time.

Earth will blow up everyone with a few dragons but it's because they have a small flight which gives them an unfair advantage
Light comes in second. Before earth, light always stayed on top.
Lightning will beat anyone up if they challenge them to a conquest.
