I'm working to re-structure my lair, I've bought a bunch of lair tabs (but haven't put any dragons in them yet) and I'm wondering if anyone else has a certain way in which they organise their lair.

Currently, my dragons are literally just laid out in the order I got them. Older dragons in the first few pages, newer dragons the further back you go (there are exceptions where a dragon has been exalted a new dragon has filled their place)

Now, I'm reorganising it with a hierarchy of sorts. I'm gonna have 12 tabs (rip my treasure... I'm at 7 so far) and those tabs will be labelled as follows:

• Founders - Progens
• Heirs - Progens hatchlings
• Consultants - 'old' wise dragons (not necessarily old ID number, just look old)
• Ambassadors - Flight reps
• High society - "Rich" dragons, essentially dolled up dragons that I have, at some point, used as avatars
• Physicians - Doctors
• Technicians - Repairmen
• Mentors - Teachers
• Warriors
• Hunters
• Commoners - Just normal dragons that don't really have a roll, just bought them because they look nice
• Outsiders - My "dark" dragons, usually the kinda evil ones

Council - Permanently mated, often has lore, not solely a pair breeding for my hatchery. All coli dergs are in this tab
Wildern - Unmated, may have lore, permas, fodder-breeders
Market - Either you're going to be leveled and exalted, or sold
Hatchery - Pairs for my hatchery

I keep mine in tabs, too, but I also use different pages in tabs to mark the difference between the groups.

I have my main lair with my oldest, most trusted on first page, then my weirdo' family, then the metallurgists, the magicians, and finally the commons.
Same on my temple tab, templars on the first page, seers on the second.

And so on!

How much did your last tab cost you ? I'd like to have more, but they do cost a little bit that I'd rather put in other things.

I organize by both tabs and pages:

Main

1. Front page dragons
2. Everyone else
3. Permababs
4. Fandragons

Jewelry Box

1. Jewelry Box Fae subspecies permas
2. JBF permanent breeding partners I don't consider permas

Nursery

1. Breeding project and hosted nests
2. Hatchlings

Training Facility

• Fodder for leveling

Break Room (den)

• Leveled fodder in storage

Nap Room (den)

• Hatchlings I'm sitting on to grow up and become fodder

I don’t. I have very minimal organization because my brain worms likes keeping things in chronological order. I have my main tab, who I just recently moved pairs next to each other. My gaos have made their home on page two.

I have a separate tab for breeding purposes. And then a tab for keeping fodder while I’m waiting for them to sell.

My den has all the dragons I liked/wanted to keep, but couldn’t fit in my main lair for space issues. There’s a secondary tab for gene projects.

That’s it for now. I don’t have much by way of lore so this is fine for my purposes.

♦ All of my lore factions in separate tabs. Usually sitting next to/on the same row as their mates/friends/etc

Loners
Sales / Inbox

...I'm way too simple lol
Was originally wanting a tab for my Obsidian family (basically mafia), one for my Seafoam clan (artists and craftsdragons), one for my Brown friends (architects, explorers, fighters), one for the Purples (night active, entertainers), Blues (mages) etc

But that many tabs felt a bit silly


EDIT: My den also just has Couples and Loners, but most couples are awake right now as I'm swapping mates. Trying to make good pairings, but some are stuck together for lore.

I have mine as goes:

• The Haven: anyone who I'm probably/definitely keeping, dragons actually in it's lore, and guests (who are unfinished or being moved around)
• The Cave: lore group of ragtag murderers, theives, and the like
• Breeding pairs: is exactly what it sounds like. No lore lol
• Meh: these are the wildcards, they have the potential to either become lore permas or exalted on the spot. Mostly for sales and exalts tho
  
• In my den I have another tab which is like a secondary to the Haven, for less-complete dragons that I don't want to get rid of
