Does anyone have dragons that they scattered? I kinda want to buy a scatter scroll but I’m scared that it will just make the dragon uglier

I have two I've scattered. It depends on how much you want to take the risk. Yes, dragons can end up looking worse than before, but if the dragon has sentimental value for some reason and can be hard to replace with another dragon, then scattering it may be worth that risk.

I scattered my custom progen today, and despite the previous 9 scatters mostly not ending up well, this time she ended up as Terracotta/Bronze/Olive and will stay that way! It may take time and gems, but it can be worth it if you're willing to take the risk.

Also skins help hide the awkward colors while scattering, so if you do scatter be prepared to cover any unsightly combos with a skin lol

I did it so long ago that I can't remember (in fact, I did it so long ago that the colorwheel expansion hadn't been released yet). If you're attached to a particular dragon, it can be worth it. But I only put the money into this because she was my random progen, and I hated her original colors and species.

I scatter my progens from time to time just because. It's fun to see what new garish combinations they come out with. I don't have good rng luck, though. I have a current scatter project, my random progen. She'd had a couple okay-ish combinations, but nothing I'm totally happy with yet. Scatters so far are in her bio. I have several great scattered dragons. Of course, I've had other scattered dragons that I ended up exalting because I couldn't get a good combo. But I think its worth it to scatter several times. I tend to stop at 6 if I haven't gotten a combo I like. Generally, I save scattering for special date dragons since they are not as replaceable. I've scattered a dragon only once, and I regret it only because it wasn't absolutely necessary (her original colors were fine!
