Whenever I get a new clutch of eggs hatched I almost never name them right away. I always wait until they are an adult unless I have a really good name waiting. Is this weird? Does anyone else do this?

If i know i'm going to keep them I name them right away, otherwise they get named by whoever buys them off the AH, or they all get a fodder name after a week, trained and exalted.

If I plan on keeping them I'll wait a bit to come up with an okay name, other than that I don't really care if they end up with a fodder name
Lmao it takes me so long to come up with a name even after they've become adults. I've had dragons sit in my lair for 2 months unnamed before I decided on a name for them
For permas I have to wait til I come up with a personality/job for them because my naming scheme ends up describing them in three words. I had two that I just named that I hatched in December.
Those being sold get randomized names.

the name generator is my best friend lol. most of the hatchlings from my dragons are fodder unless they're being hatched for lore reasons or i'm nesting a pair for someone.
It's not weird at all, I used to feel such pressure over naming until I gave up and just started using the random generator. It feels like a heavy burden to me, to decide on a name.

Nah, sometimes it takes me a day or two to come up with a name for any newcomers if they aren’t already named. I don’t name hatchlings unless I plan to keep them. Sounds pretty normal to me.

I wouldn't call it an issue but I have it too!
Sometimes I have name-regret, like "Aw drat, I wish I didn't name x "y" because I thought of a better name for it!"
But it's been awhile since I thought hard about names, since I exalt most of the time aha.
