TOPIC | Favorite Way to Train to 25?

Hey guys, I was talking to a friend who plays FR and we realized we have very different ways of grinding dragons up to 25.

I use a mire flyer and dump points into health on the ones I'm training, getting 2 done at a time. She, however, tends to do a full party grind through the coli.

Do y'all have a preferred method? what is it?

I use my Mire Flyer or my Ruins Wrecker and train two at a time.

I use a Ghostbuster and 2 training dragons. I like Ghostlight better than the Mire, even though it takes a little longer for the dragons to level.

Two 133 STR trainers in Harpies Roost so I can one shot eliminate everything except bosses and aviars. Everyone outfitted with clobber so I can rob bosses of their turns. [emoji=guardian laughing size=1]

I keep a mire or ruins raider in my group for the killing
The dragon I'm training to level 25
and one fodder. Goes fast and I don't even notice when my dragon hits level 25 hehe

I've done it a handful of ways with tons of dragons. I have more max level dragons than I know what to do with, tbh XD

Personally, I tend to use my Kelp Bed Levelers with one dragon I want to get to level 25 (the 3 most recent dragons I got to 25 were leveled this way)

However I occasionally do like getting a team of 3 dragons and leveling them up together, though, it's a lot slower this way, but it is fun and brings some diversity into the coli (since I find myself stuck in the Mire or Kelp Beds a lot for leveling fodder).

I've also gotten a dragon to level 25 using my Mire Flyer, where one slot is the dragon I'm getting to 25, and the other is fodder that gets switched out once it hits level 10 (the level I get all my fodder to), to be exalted. Though it's slower in terms of getting a dragon straight from level 1 to 25, it's nice to make some money while doing it.

If we're talking objectively for speed then anyone with a 25 trainer who knows what they're doing is going to get faster 25s than someone leveling from 1. Every battle from the start with a 25 trainer is getting level 23+ xp, depending on the zone.

Leveling with a trainer also means not needing to stat the trained dragons along the way. This can save a tincture, which admittedly tinctures aren't that expensive.

I can see why people might want to do a 1->25 team level up though. It's a change of scenery through the venue levels, the loot is more diverse, battles are more varied, overall it's not a uniform grinding experience.

I think it's definitely /faster/ to train two dragons to 25 with a mire flyer. When I do that, I usually don't even bother adjust their stats until they're finished leveling. (God help me, I added quickness to a dragon when leveling /once,/ and had to tincture them /immediately/ because the disruption in the turn order it caused felt very annoying!)

That said, taking a team of three through the coli from level 8 or so? Is to me, more fun!! and way less tedious! if only for the occasional change of scenery and the cute lore aspect of dragons training and hunting and growing in teams together. (I have more than one coli team and tend to keep the ones I trained up in trios together in the coli, just because it makes me happy to see.
Going through all the levels also has the added bonus of building up swipp/hibernal den/baldwin items from venues that I usually don't grind in as often, and the chance (though rare!) of getting eliminate drops!

I train with 2 level 25s in the Kelp Beds.

definitely an imperial dragon - restore hoardsold items.
- maki's festival guide & event calendar.
- uncheck "hoard... while scrolling" to unsticky your hoard.
- buying an apparel slot for a dragon unlocks it for all of your dragons.
I train them to lvl 10 in the Mire then dump all their stats into QCK with a bit of VIT/INT. Then I give them Meditate + Clobber (eventually Aid + Discipline too) and drag them through the Golem Workshop. Makes the Workshop a breeze, since Clobber is a guaranteed stun no matter the dragon's stats it's just as useful on a Lvl 1 as it is on a Lvl 25. You honestly don't even need stats other that QCK to make this work, since your goal is to just outspeed + stunlock the enemies then let your glass cannons pick them off unscathed. I've never heard of anyone else using this strategy for some reason. Seriously folks, abuse Clobber, it's incredibly underrated. [item=clobber][item=clobber][item=clobber]
