Tomorrow, all my nests will be emptied.
I have no preorders, so except for the pairs that are not ready, I can breed anything.

I have NO idea which pairs to choose.
There are new pairs I want to try, but also older pairs whose hatchlings always sell.
I can play it safe, breed some water-y pairs and hope for rare eyes.
Or I can throw ALL the wildcard pairs at nests and sacrifice a goat for the RNG.
How do you decide which dragons get to use the limited amount of nests?
EDIT 2: I ended up breeding whatever I felt like, so no profits this time around lol. Fodder partaaay!

My breeding criteria are simple. Either:
a) Are they triple white? If so, into a nest they go (Especially so if they're triple basic)
b) Can I yeet the parents after they're done incubating? If so, they can nest. :D
I'm not really doing any breeding projects, but last time I did, I wanted the dragon to look like a bass (The fish) I think it turned out well! :)

Because I don't have a hatchery, which means me selling any dragons at all is a shot in the dark, I just go with whatever I like at the time. My pairs tend to be able to cycle around each other, so unless I get a random pair, I usually am able to breed what I want.
Tomorrow I have my mist/cream/wine project pair up for breeding, I'm SO glad I breedchanged Mesmerize into a fae (from imperial), it's going to go much faster now.
I refuse to breed my g1 gaoler pair until Ter has all his genes (dang you coli genes for being perfect on him!) so that's another pair not breeding.

i just breed whatever looks decent on the hatchling previews. unless its from a pair that i breed exclusively with eachother. dont have many of those though.

Sometimes I don't breed dragons at all for lore purposes, also I like to breed dragons for a profit. For example I bred two triple gened gaolers today and they WEGGED ME
Basically any dragon that I think will make pretty babies. I don't breed that much so yeah.

breed whatever I like and sell for fodder. if theyre a good pair, some of their kids still get good homes, if not, Im still a few k richer

I have some set pairs but I generally just throw dragons together. They all end up as fodder anyway.

I breed whatever I think is cute, put them up on my pretties for fodder thread/share in Find a Dragon, and if they're not bought/traded for by the time they grow up, off to Glademomma they go!
