I think everyone had already discussed it, but couldn't find the thread, so wanted to speak of some ideas.
- Multiple-headed dragons
That's already covered by Emperors, but talking about alive ones, this could be something of Earth, Arcane, Lightning ancients. You know, "more knowledge" stuff.
- Amphipteres
The Swiftwing excitement shows there are fans of dergs with less legs, but I'd love to see the ones with no legs. And maybe more wings. Not like Spirals, more Arcanist-style or seraph-style. And feathers. God, I already want it.
- The full-mutated mirrors
The ones they were concepted originally. More legs, more tails. Maybe somewhat-abomination. I don't even know about keeping 'em myself, but it would be cool for the site.
- More exaggerated common-likes
Light and Ice won't probably do more, but other flights can. Feathery or furry wildclaws. Absolutely wingless snappers. Coatls with actual flames on the body. And so on.
- Couriers
More like a crazy "what-if" thoughts, but who wants a courier breed hatchie in their lair?

I suspect Plague is gonna get a dragon with extra heads/limbs since that was the concept for the original mirror dragons. That's why they called them mirrors (every body part was mirrored/doubled) and they just never changed the name when they revamped them to how they are now.
Edit: I must have skimmed over your post. I just now saw that you mentioned this already lol.
Edit 2: imagine a wormy dragon that tunnels through the ground for Earth. Or like a tatzelwurm.

I didn't know that mirrors had extra limbs in the binning and now I really want one, and I honestly can see them doing a mirror like ancient, since we already got gaoler that are just tundras, but bigger and less friendly. That would be so cool to have a naturally creepy dragon [emoji=ridgeback laughing size=1]

My dream for the Nature ancient is that it doubles down on the raptor-ness of Wildclaws and its straight up a dinosaur that some feathers got on

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I saw Undel or someone else mentioned how they'll be excited to mess around with Hydras and other multiple-headed dragons, so hopefully we'll get an ancient for that and I can make a King Ghidorah fanderg :D
