for me, i will immediately say NOPE to any g1 that has a scrollable list. but if its short, like maybe up to 5 or 6 hatchlings long, ill keep them in consideration :)

I don't think breeding should ever inherently lower the value of any dragon.
That said, I still won't buy a bred G1 unless it has colors I'm desperate for because reselling them for a decent price is borderline impossible.

I'd like to say no, because I honestly thought they didn't, but then I found myself not buying certain G1's because they had been bred, so....

it doesn't but i'm not a g1 buyer. i've only ever bought two g1s and one of them was for breeding stock that i then exalted
if i found a g1 with the perfect colors, gender, and element i wanted but had a mile long offspring list? doesn't matter to me

Unless the dragon was an Imperial, low digit, or had absolutely perfect colors, I would probably look for another dragon to buy.
1) I like the [i]none/none[/i]
2) I like the lore implications, or lack thereof
3) I like the possible resale value
4) I really don't like keeping dragons with offspring in general*
* This goes double for dragons with unexalted offspring that belong to another player's lair. Like, I sometimes fear that someone will decide to rename one of my dragon's kids something silly or obnoxious and then I'll be stuck with a dragon with a meme for a child [emoji=spiral scared size=1]

I have a gen1 pair I'm about to breed for lore, and idrc because they're not going anywhere and the show must go on.
pricing-wise... uff. slash it by 50%. people care a lot about their gay/loner edgelord/ace /deity who cannot procreate characters (90% of dragons on this site). I'm the same but more willing to write the spawn in as plot points and accidents :p
