Then why do the dragons of Light live in ruins? I know that the Sunbeam Ruins were built by a culture that lived before dragonkind, but still, with the technology available to dragons they should be capable of either restoring the ruins - or at least build some new stuff around them if they want to keep the archeological record intact... Stomping around on the ruins, as seen on the exalt pillar, won't help with preserving them either though!!!

I think it might be because of Emperors. If Light did advance in technology, there's a big chance that an Emperor might come along and wreck everything.

i was just wondering because you only ever see ruins depicted in all the artwork, but never new stuff...
