I did this but with a starsilk I got like, right after they came out.

Here's another I just remembered:
My dragons aren't what you'd call "aesthetic", but I had a nice player compliment me on my random progen and how cool they thought he looked, and I was like "I can breed a dragon like him if you want" so I went out and found a mate and bred him and got a very similar dragon and sent it to them and it made them so happy! :D that dragon I bred is still alive and well-loved today (last I checked) ^-^
Here's another I just remembered:

Later on, there was this fad going around of plugging in your birthday as a dragon ID to see what you'd get and me and my friends started doing this together at school and lo and behold, my [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=view&tab=userpage&id=43946]friend[/url] plugged in her birthday, October 16, 1996 and up pops my dragon
We kind of stared at the screen for a while cuz we were NOT expecting that! I offered to give him to her but she said she would be very happy if I could take good care of him in my lair (especially since on average I'm more active than her)
and ever since then, this has been one of my favorite dragons!
Every now and then someone will PM me asking if they can buy this dragon from me because he has their birthday, but I don't want to sell him since I feel like he's been entrusted to me
