WARNING: big sad
Usually just before I exalt a dragon, I write something about them.
Awhile ago, before Support, I had a dragon that I had just fallen out of love with... He wasn't particularly pretty either; it was one of those dragons that you had a special bond with because they were just kinda ugly. I tried selling him, but I wouldn't let him get to fodder floor because I didn't want anyone else to exalt him.
I realized that it was probably time to let him go, so I wrote:
"You're as beautiful as you've always been, but I'm afraid I have nothing more to give. I'm sorry to exalt you, but I was afraid no one else would give you the amount of love I had for you. Goodbye, my darling."
*in tears* Sorry this ended up being highkey sad but do you guys have any parting words for your dragons if you sell/exalt them? :0
Otherwise, if you could write to a dragon that you don't have anymore, what would you write?

Sometimes I put ''Yeet'' in their biosdfgsfhdgj
My progens tho, have their lore bits in their bios, they're exalted rn, but I bring them back, edit/add new stuff and exalt them again sometimes

I rather write lore for alive dragons, because I'd be pretty sad to pour my heart into a dragon with a dead end (functionally speaking). I wouldn't mind writing and fleshing out lore for what my clan would consider the explanation for how they handle exaltation though. (ie parting stories where misc dragons have aspirations to serve other deities in other capacities)

I assume they just say something like, "The deity needs me" as toss whatever coins they have at the lair's treasure pile as they no longer need such things.
